*BIOGRAPHY OF ABIMBOLA KOLAWOLE MUKANDAS*
Abimbola Kolawole Mukandas is an human right advocate focused primarily on issues of injustice, equity, humanity and community advancement.
Born on May 29, 2002 and raised in Ijegun – Lagos, Nigeria, he studies Mass Communication at the Lagos State University, Nigeria.
He has advocated for issues related to youths, student politics, children and undeserved communities. He is a man whose humanitarian activities have endeared him to the hearts of people, he is a youth who is close to people, a mobiliser with excess capacity and a reliable student politician of note.
As a Budding politician, Activist, Public speaker and Parliamentarian, Abimbola has worked as an Honourable member for Communication students representative council (CSRC-LASU) for two tenures 2020-2022 and has organize groups and connect individuals with knowledge and tools to provide students, citizens and policy makers with common sense policies that ensure equity.
Furthermore, Abimbola kolawole Mukandas has acted as the 15th PRO CSRC Bye election committee, 15th PRO for CSRC Budget committee, Chairman CSRC Special duties committee.
He also managed Richieart FM an online radio which has audiences in and out of the country.
In 2021, Abimbola kolawole Mukandas was among the peaceful protesters whom protested against the merging of LASU School Of Communication stream 1 and stream 2 students in a single lecture room.
Abimbola Kolawole Mukandas has been recognized by youths and Ambassadors of Lagos State Government for his work as a community organizer, supporter of equity and continues to provide capacity to youths, students and influenced to make impacts.
He was nominated by the LASUSU representatives of School of communication in 2021 as a member of the 31st LASUSU Task force group (Ethics and Disciplinary Committee ) as a key player in the work to maintain peace and order among the students and to maintain proper sanitation amongs all vendors within the university environment.
